What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies (like localStorage and IndexedDB) store small amounts of data on your device. Some are essential to run SecuSpark; others help us understand how the app is used, but only if you allow them.
We use analytics cookies by default to see how the app is used and improve it. Marketing cookies are off unless you opt in, and you can turn analytics off at any time via the "Manage your cookie preferences" link below or in the footer. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track browser signals as a rejection, and if your account is registered to someone under 16 we keep analytics and marketing off entirely.

Analytics (on by default — switch off any time)

These are set by default unless you have turned analytics off (or your browser sends a GPC/DNT signal), and are cleared/disabled if you withdraw consent. Some analytics providers are in the United States — see the Privacy Policy for details of international transfers.
Local storage on your device
Your study progress, flashcards, and quiz history are stored in your browser's IndexedDB and generally stay on your device. You can clear them at any time by deleting your browser data, or by deleting your account in Settings, which also wipes this local data.
