What Is the Security+ SY0-701 Exam Format?

The Security+ SY0-701 exam format consists of up to 90 questions to be completed in 90 minutes. You need a score of 750 out of 900 to pass. The exam is taken at a Pearson VUE testing center or via online proctoring from home.

Question types include: single-select multiple-choice (choose one answer from four options), multi-select multiple-choice (choose two or three correct answers), and performance-based questions (PBQs) that simulate hands-on tasks.
